THE BOYZ Tops Ktown4u Weekly Chart with New Album 'Unexpected'

(MHN, Reporter Lee Yoon-bi) K-pop group THE BOYZ is continuing to gain momentum following their recent comeback, clinching the No.1 spot on Ktown4u's weekly album chart.
According to global K-pop platform Ktown4u, THE BOYZ’s third full-length album ‘Unexpected’ ranked first in album sales for the week of March 24 to 30, selling 13,354 copies of its photobook version during that period.

The group made their comeback on March 17 with the release of ‘Unexpected’. The title track ‘VVV’ is a synth-pop anthem blending retro synths with old-school hip-hop elements. The track is noted for its addictive melody and high-energy performance.
The music video for ‘VVV’ surpassed 10 million views within just four days of release. Domestically, the song also topped music charts including Bugs Music, further cementing the group’s successful return.
In a show of social responsibility, THE BOYZ’s agency IST Entertainment (operating under the name OneHundred) donated 500 million KRW (approx. $370,000 USD) to the Korean Red Cross on March 29, in support of wildfire recovery efforts and aid for affected communities.
