NCT’s Mark Tops Ktown4u Weekly Chart Ahead of Solo Debut

(By Yunbee Lee, MHN Sports) NCT’s Mark is heating up the charts even before his official solo debut. The artist’s upcoming first solo full-length album, 'The Firstfruit', has claimed the top spot on Ktown4u’s weekly album sales chart.
Ktown4u, a global K-pop platform powered by international fandom, released its weekly album chart for the period of March 17 to 23. According to the data, the Square Flap version of Mark’s 'The Firstfruit' sold 14,650 copies, earning it the No. 1 spot.
Adding to the group’s success, fellow NCT member Ten ranked second with his second mini album 'STUNNER' (YOU ARE version), which sold 9,046 copies during the same period.

Mark’s first solo album 'The Firstfruit' is set for release on April 7. The album is divided into four sections, each inspired by cities that have shaped Mark’s journey — Toronto, New York, Vancouver, and Seoul — offering a deeply personal narrative.
On March 19, he pre-released the track '+82 Pressin' (feat. Haechan), officially signaling the start of his solo era. The song, the first in the Seoul-themed section, marks his first duet with fellow NCT member Haechan. It reflects their shared journey from Canada to Korea and pursuit of a common dream.
'+82 Pressin' blends a catchy whistle riff with VOX samples layered over a bass-driven hip-hop track. The marching snare, punchy kick drums, and Mark’s energetic delivery create a dynamic, vibrant sound. The lyrics, penned by Mark himself, cleverly incorporate South Korea’s country code '+82' as a thematic motif.
'The Firstfruit' is currently available for pre-order at various online and offline music retailers, and will be officially released on April 7.
