Couple Shares Love Story Ahead of Wedding: "We'll Prepare Without Fighting"

Actor Lee Gyu-han revealed his long-standing affection for singer Solbi, admitting he's had feelings for her for two decades, as the couple prepares to tie the knot.

On June 22, the YouTube channel 'Solbi is Back' released a video titled 'Introducing My Fiancé,' featuring Solbi and Lee Gyu-han side by side, capturing viewers' attention.

Solbi opened the video by saying, "To keep my promise of getting married within three years, I'd like to introduce my fiancé." Lee Gyu-han then chimed in, "I'm Solbi's fiancé, about to marry the most beautiful person in the world."

Lee Gyu-han expressed his desire to greet fans through Solbi's YouTube channel first after their engagement news broke. "I thought it would be appropriate to appear on Solbi's YouTube to say hello, so I requested to be here," he explained.

The couple shared sweet exchanges befitting their soon-to-be-wed status. Solbi referenced her previous statement on her channel about getting married within three years and asked Lee Gyu-han for his thoughts.

Lee playfully responded, "Did I have to wait three years?" making Solbi smile. When she inquired if he liked her back then, Lee confessed, "I've liked you for 20 years," revealing the depth of his feelings.

They also reminisced about their time on the dating reality show 'Old Meeting Pursuit' (nicknamed 'Omanchu').

Solbi recalled a touching moment: "During 'Omanchu,' when we held hands in the car, it really opened my heart. Why did you reach for my hand instead of just completing the hand-holding mission?"

Lee admitted his memory was hazy, citing the distractions of driving an unfamiliar route, checking navigation, and being next to the "incredibly beautiful Solbi." He added, "Between talking, filming, and everything else, I'm not sure what state of mind I was in during the shoot."

He reflected, "I think my unconscious desire to hold her hand came out naturally," suggesting his feelings for Solbi manifested in his actions.

Lee also shared his surprise at the public's reaction to their engagement. "Honestly, I didn't expect our wedding news to become such a hot topic. I'm truly grateful," he said.
