The October 15th episode of YouTube's 'Jo Hyun-a's Ordinary Thursday Night' featured KickFlip members Kye-hoon, Dong-hyun, and Joo-wang dishing on their comeback and inter-group dynamics.

Kye-hoon revealed he and Dong-hyun hit up an all-you-can-eat meat joint first thing on shoot day.

"This morning, our maknae Dong-hyun suggested we grab all-you-can-eat meat, so we had this cozy morning meat date," Kye-hoon shared.

He added, "Dong-hyun's got that enviable metabolism, while I'm more of a 'look at food and gain weight' type. We figured we'd go all out before our long-awaited comeback."

As laughter erupted over their decidedly un-idol-like breakfast choice, the conversation shifted to KickFlip's new tracks.

KickFlip dropped one of their double title tracks, "Incomplete," on September 28, followed by "Kick Off The Wall" on October 6.

Leader Kye-hoon revealed he pitched the idea for the "Incomplete" title.

He explained, "It's one of our double title tracks. Usually, 'in' in 'incomplete' suggests something unfinished, but I used the character for 'beauty' to mean 'beautiful completion no matter what we do.'"

"The company loved it and green-lit it," he added, detailing how his concept made the cut.

However, the warm fuzzies quickly gave way to Kye-hoon's playful callout of Dong-hyun.

Kye-hoon started, "Actually, Dong-hyun's song was the first to be chosen. It made it onto our second and third albums."

He then aired his grievance, "I thought he'd treat us when his song got picked, but nada. Radio silence."

Kye-hoon mentioned he was ready to treat the group since his title track was chosen this time.

"So when my title track got the nod, I was all set to treat everyone, but Dong-hyun's stinginess got to me. Two albums in, and still nothing?" This had everyone in stitches.

When Jo Hyun-a pressed Dong-hyun if he really hadn't ponied up anything, Kye-hoon paused before admitting, "Well, he did bring back a pack or two of Daegu honey rice cakes during Chuseok."

Jo Hyun-a cracked up, "Two packs... that's hilariously ambiguous!"

As Kye-hoon kept the revelations coming, Dong-hyun wasn't about to take it lying down.

Dong-hyun raised his hand, eager to defend himself, "I'd like to make a statement,"

"I'm always down to grab food together, but these hyungs never show up!"

He clarified it wasn't about not wanting to treat; the members just rarely got together.

Jo Hyun-a then brought up their morning meat feast.

When she asked, "Who footed the bill for the meat this morning?" Kye-hoon shot back without missing a beat, "We split it," sending everyone into fits of laughter.

Kye-hoon then revealed his master plan: "If Dong-hyun had said, 'Hyung, I've got this,' I was gonna be like, 'Nah, you got the title track, so it's on me.'"

He explained he would've insisted on covering the meat if Dong-hyun had offered to pay.

But they ended up splitting the bill, oblivious to each other's intentions, leaving Kye-hoon to express his regret after the fact.

Dong-hyun also defended why the older members never gathered, adding to the duo's comedic back-and-forth.
