Nostalgia and Laughter: 'Moonlight' Cast Reunites After a Decade

The stars of the hit K-drama 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' recently came together, reminiscing about their time on set 10 years ago.

On September 16, KBS2 aired a special reunion episode featuring Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Jinyoung, Chae Soo-bin, and Kwak Dong-yeon as they embarked on a nostalgic getaway.

The quintet gathered at their lodgings to prepare dinner, with the main course being a comforting chicken soup that evoked memories from their filming days. Kim Yoo-jung took charge in the kitchen, whipping up an impressive spread that included the soup, various Korean side dishes, and even lamb chops.

As they dug into their meal, conversation naturally drifted to their experiences on set a decade ago.

Park Bo-gum kicked things off by expressing his gratitude to Kim Yoo-jung. "I felt immense pressure as the lead," he admitted, reflecting on his role. "But Yoo-jung was so supportive. I'd think to myself, 'If she can handle it, so can I.'"

He elaborated, "Yoo-jung's character had such emotional depth, yet she'd still bring snacks to the set for everyone." Park marveled at how she cared for others despite her own challenges.

Jinyoung echoed these sentiments, noting, "Yoo-jung really looked after everyone. She seemed more mature than her years, caring for others even when she must have been struggling herself."

Kwak Dong-yeon was remembered fondly as the set's jokester. Park Bo-gum shared, "In my mind, Dong-yeon will always be the ultimate prankster. Looking back, he was always smiling around us. It's heartwarming to remember."

Kwak, in turn, expressed his appreciation for Park Bo-gum. "I joined the production late and felt overwhelmed," he recalled. "But Bo-gum made me feel so at ease. I'm really grateful for that."

As the stars opened up, the atmosphere grew warm and sentimental. However, the mood took an unexpected turn when the topic of showers came up.

Park Bo-gum mentioned the heat, saying he might need another shower. Kwak chimed in, claiming it would be his fourth of the day.

Chae Soo-bin, intrigued, pressed for details. "How did you manage to shower four times?" she asked incredulously.

Kwak began counting, "Well, there was one in the morning, then after swimming..." He trailed off, realizing he'd lost count. "Okay, maybe it was just three," he admitted sheepishly. "But does it really matter? The point is, I showered a lot!" His defensive tone had everyone in stitches.

Observing the playful banter, Park Bo-gum quipped, "This feels like a scene from a dating show." Seizing the moment, he and Kim Yoo-jung improvised a mock dating show scenario, sending the group into fits of laughter.
