Former Nine Muses member turned musical actress Kim Jo has welcomed her first son with husband Baek Gi-beom after four years of marriage.

On the 18th, the proud new parents took to their respective social media accounts to introduce their bundle of joy to the world, melting hearts everywhere.

Kim Jo kicked things off by sharing a sweet snap of their little one sporting a blue beanie and peacefully snoozing. She captioned the photo with a cheeky "Cool tone baby" - talk about a trendsetter in the making!

Not to be outdone, Baek Gi-beom also posted a pic of their son, writing, "Hello, world! Meet Gu Jo-bang, now known as Jo-eun." Looks like they've ditched the prenatal nickname "Parang" for their chosen moniker.

Another adorable shot showed the newborn with his eyes tightly shut, accompanied by the caption, "Still working on that whole 'opening eyes' thing."

But the real showstopper? The first-ever father-son selfie! Baek Gi-beom couldn't contain his excitement, dubbing it a milestone moment in their new family journey.

The couple's love story began on the set of the musical "Off to Work at 6" in 2019, leading to their wedding in September 2022.

This February, four years into their marriage, they announced the pregnancy to a chorus of well-wishes. Kim Jo revealed she got the best birthday present ever when she confirmed the news on December 17.

The nickname "Parang" was a nod to Kim Jo's favorite color and her hope for a mini-me of her husband. When they learned it was indeed a boy, the congratulations came pouring in all over again.

In July, just a month before the big day, they treated fans to a stunning maternity shoot and spilled the beans on baby names. Kim Jo shared, "We're already thinking ahead to baby number two! We've got 'Jo Bo-hwa' picked out for our future little one."

Kim Jo rose to fame as a member of Nine Muses in 2015 before pivoting to musical theater. Her hubby, Baek Gi-beom, is also a musical actor, with impressive credits including "Hamlet," "Snowfall," and "Capone Milk."
