제가 빛나려고 할 때마다
저의 그림자는 더 도드라지는 것 같아요.
다른 이들이 내는 빛 때문에
제 그림자가 더 짙어 보이는 건 무슨 이유일까요?
앨범 “페르소나”는 평생 유령처럼 따라다니는 그림자를
사랑하고 싶은 마음에서 시작한 앨범입니다.
별이 빛나는 건 태양을 반사하기 때문이라고 해요.
자신을 사랑한다는 건 결국 주위 사람들이 내는 빛도
함께 받아들인다는 뜻이겠지요.
 
Whenever I try to shine, my shadow looms darker.
Why does it deepen by the light others emanate?
My album, Persona, was born from a desire to embrace the shadow that has followed me like a phantom throughout my life. Just as stars reflect sunlight to shine, I seek to love every part of myself, including the shadow.
Stars shine by reflecting the light that surrounds them. In the same way, accepting and loving oneself means embracing all aspects of the light and shadow in one’s life.
